This book deserves 5 stars for a very scholarly and I insightful look at history and facts. It also contains religious beliefs including speculation about the meaning of ancient biblical prophecy. The former should be important to all readers while the latter will only appeal to readers of particular religious beliefs. The juxtaposition of the two did not seem natural to this reader so overall I can only give it 3 stars.
