Agnes becomes a wonderful mother for the orphaned girls. Nels manages to help her out her past behind, and learn to trust God.

It was a great story and I enjoyed reading it.

I really wanted to like this book, but I just couldn't get past Agnes. She was awful! She squats in this guy's home, and then when he shows up, she demands that he allow them to live there, and that he cannot stay there with them because it wouldn't be proper--hello...it's HIS HOUSE! He very generously gives in to her demands and moves into a small shed on his property. Rather than being thankful or grateful she has a sickening entitled attitude like he somehow owes it to her. I understand she was hurt in her past, but she was so demanding I just couldn't get past that.

Agnes became the guardian to three orphaned girls, but needed a place to live. She knew Nels had left his house when his fiancee in Norway informed him she had already wed. When Nels returned, the story continued to its predictable outcome. Although both characters had experienced loss in love, it was touching to see how easily they opened their hearts to the girls and each other. The emphasis on Bible verses kept them close to God. It was interesting to note how attitudes toward divorce and the importance on preserving reputations have changed so drastically.

Ms Ford, it took just 2 days to read all 4 books in this series. I loved all the characters and the family growing larger and closer together, each facing different problems and solving them with their faith in God and each other.Being a single mother is not easy even now, especially when falsehoods are spread by vindictive people. If not for good people and faith "there but for the GRACE OF GOD. Go we all.

“Reluctant Bride” is another clean romance with a lot of social tension, as well as emotional tension. There is also religious tension, but a righteous pastor who stands up to the challenge and quelled the bigotry. Bravo for a beautifully written Christian romance book.

I enjoyed this story and probably number 2 out of this series the best. As I Said before the stories are good but the plots in all of the books I have read from.This author is similar. It involves a man or woman who had been hurt, rejected,.or parents died and them coming together to take.care of a kid or kids.

I liked this story very much .I loved all the characters the story line was realistic the hardships that were overcomed .It was just a lovely book that I would recommend.This is the second book of the series that I have read now I am going back and reading the others may be out of order but I don't think it will matter

Cynthia Gabriel, I hope this becomes a mainstay for every mom. A mom centered resource companion that journeys with her through the postpartum period. It gives women simplistic guidance all in one place.As a postpartum doula and advocate for maternal mental health, this is a must read for EVERY new mom. Realistic expectations and a support system are dire in the fourth trimester for any mom, let alone a new mom. I believe we fail our moms terribly by putting so much emphasis around labor and delivery with little focus on the postpartum period. As the book reads, we need more balance between prenatal care and postpartum support. Our western culture needs to embrace mothers during this crucial time. When a baby is born, so is a mother. I will recommend this book again and again.

I had hoped that this book would give me tips with "how to proceed" now that I have my baby in my arms. But unfortunately, it did not have any information in it that I would consider useful. It was also organized very poorly. Almost nonchalantly. The information was broad and somewhat vague. Really not worth it.

Such a helpful book for the days and months right after baby arrives.

Excellent book!

This book is such a gift to new parents! Cynthia does a wonderful job combining traditional wisdom, science and commonsense recommendation. "The Fourth Trimester Companion" avoids judgement and instead helps families find and feel confident in the best parenting approach for their own baby. She identifies true problems that families might encounter postpartum, but also explores what is normal adjustment after a baby (from sleep to sex — the postpartum sex chapter is especially great!). This book doesn't just rehash the same old advice, but offers a fresh perspective from an experienced mother, anthropologist and doula. As a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and doula trainer, I'm recommending "The Fourth Trimester Companion" to all of my students, clients and the doulas I train. Get it!

If you are going to have a baby, YOU NEED THIS BOOK! It absolutely saved my life after my first baby came. The amount of practical wisdom and guidance combined with the invitation to really learn to trust myself as a mother was the best form of support I could have imagined! Cynthia is clearly an experienced birth professional who has learned a tremendous amount from her many years of experience, which she generously shares with us in this book. She is quite thorough in her explanation of the different phases a woman naturally experiences postpartum, which made me feel so much more sane and way less alone. She provides so many resources for new moms to get additional support, which is critical during such an intense time. Cynthia describes how to navigate all of the changing relationships post birth – from partners to grandparents to other children, to animals. It’s by far the most thorough and comprehensive book out there on the postpartum period.Honestly, I have reccomendedthis book to everyone I know who is having or just had a baby. I wish I lived closer to her so that she could be my doula when I have my next baby.

This is a great textbook for any veterinary student, veterinarian, or vet interested or soon to start their radiology residency.*I am a veterinarian looking to apply for radiology residency.-Thorough explanations with plenty of picture examples-Covers many differential diagnoses for common and uncommon radiographic findings-Covers the important physics that describes how radiographs are created, but is not formula based (not a lot of math)-Just the right thickness at about 1.5-2 inches thick.

I got this book as a birthday present for my husband who is a radiologist (for humans). He's got an interest in comparative radiology and this book made his day. The quality of the images, the comprehensive number of disorders, the clarity of the explanations, and the fact that it is a textbook of reference for VSci students and practitioners make of this textbook a pearl to have in our library.

The best radiology book in the world. It's the only radiology book I have been told to buy in vet school.

This book really helps me make sense of the physics involved in radiology. Very good supplement to class lectures.

I have found Thrall to be an excellent resource text to get a good grounding in radiography and radiology. The text is written in a very reader-friendly style, covering the main points without being verbose. The many radiographic examples often cover more than one instance of a particular condition, giving the reader different perspectives on conditions. My only desire would be to have more of the radiographs labeled with the radiological points referred to in the text. The updated sections on Ultrasonography and MRI give a student (and current practitioner new to these technologies) a good understanding of them.

This is a great book for veterinary radiology if you want to know a lot about it. This is by no means an introductory level book. It has small print and a LOT of information. If you are looking to become very astute at radiography this book will help take you there. The pictures are good for the most part, although some are zoomed in so far you can't tell what the original radiograph was. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a good, in depth guide to radiology.

Great book to have for reference for digital imaging. Provides anyone with fabulous pictures. Also helps with understanding the principles of physics behind the images that are being seen on the screen and/or film.

This is the second radiology book I bought this year because the one I have is not interesting at all. This book has excellent radiographs with explanations and that what a clinician needs. You need to read this book word by word and it explain you a lot.

Do not buy this book. It is nothing but a faulty reprint of the text of MHH, with no illustrations except on the cover. There is a Dover reprint (much less expensive) that presents the full facsimile of the original book, not a bad transcription of the text. This book is a scam.

Since this is a fairly serious work, the Amazon mandated choices regarding plot, mood, pace and characters really don't apply. Since Amazon groups together all reviews of books with the same title, the one to get is edited by Michael Phillips. Mr Phillips has spent almost a lifetime studying William Blake and carefully presents his insight as well as differences in various editions of the book.To appreciate this book, one has to take into account the political and religious turmoil when it was written. Mr Phillips gives a lot of background to help understand the era.

The kindle version of this is not the full work as it states "60 pages" it is 6 pages of some obscure content from the entire work.

Specifically this Kindle version. It's not even close to the full text. Comes out at like 124kb, and the real thing is much larger.

I bless my mind for bringing these 15 pages in my reading life.This has been the most replenishing reading experience this year.William Blake knew-- It.

It's not the work that I hate, it's the fact that I bought an art book, a book of artwork, to enjoy the artwork, but NOOOOO! This is a tiny child-sized book and the pictures inside have a blank white border all the way around the artwork on every page, so the actual art is cut down to 3in wide 4in. long, making it impossible to read the words or really see the drawings. It is a pointless endeavor, and I feel like I was cheated out of almost $10. I won't be buying from this particular seller again, and I buy a lot of books.

I spent a buck on four pages of obscure poetry. I could have sampled it for free and encourage others to do so

This version of the book is very, very disappointing. The binding is not good. The paper seems cheap. The "facsimile" is black and white, and tiny. I usually don't write negative reviews, but this book was not worth my time picking it up. It is so sad that the beauty of William Blake has been desecrated by this edition.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COLORING BOOK!!!!I was looking for a positive happy coloring book and this is perfect! I just cannot say enough. Usually I am extremely picky about coloring pages, if it's not cute or pretty then I simply don't bother, but this is just the best thing ever! I am already planning on buying another copy for me and one for my daughter and whoever else I can think of. My only complaint is one of the pages has a wine page and I am violently opposed to drinking or making light of it. Other than that A+

I bought two different ones as I wasn't sure which one I'd like. This is the one I will probably either gift away or never use. The reason is because it has a lot of pages like these where all you really color is text. Some may be into it but I prefer better designs in the background.

The Cover is beautiful - the inside unfortunately doesn't match the rest of the book. I was disappointed by the quality of the "artwork" and boring designs. Whoever does the cover, should have done the interior or at least focused more on the designs. Oh well, there are plenty other coloring books to be had.

Paper is very low quality and not perforated. Doubt ill even color in this book as I use markers and every page will bleed onto the next. May Return.

I just started coloring for relaxation and lot it. Sharing my finished work has uplifted several of my friends.

Love this coloring book! It is so much fun to color in and most pics aren't too extremely detailed which I do not like the extremely detail ones. I think the thickness of the paper is fine, but I use colored pencils, maybe not suitable for the gel pens though. It would be nice to have the perforated strip for tearing out if want to, but it doesn't personally bother me that much. These are all really fun coloring pages and great inspiring quotes.

I love to color, just to relax. And I like to use Sharpies along with an assortment of gel and metallic pens, crayons, and colored pencils. The designs in this particular book are just what I hoped they would be--inspirational words in many different styles, simple backgrounds. I have really enjoyed bringing them to life with color. However, the paper is so thin, my markers not only bleed through to whatever is underneath, but also outside the lines of the designs. My hand gets tired using just the pencils and pens, so the Sharpies are my first choice. I have wanted to give some of these pages to other people, to express something positive for them. But they just don't turn out like my other work on heavier paper. Another problem is that the pages are not perforated. I ended up taking the book completely apart and making a stack of individual pages. Therefore, I'm giving 3 stars.

I'm currently undergoing chemo for breast cancer. It takes about 3-4 hours per treatment and sometimes it makes me a bit foggy and can also make my vision ever so slightly blurry. For these reasons, this coloring book is just right for me! The outlines of the designs are bold so easy to see and the designs are not so tiny that I keep going outside the lines. Best of all, the sentiments expressed are inspirational.If your vision isn't the best, this is a great adult coloring book. I liked it so much I bought one for my sister and my mom.

I'm a little disappointed in this book. Not being able to see inside the book makes it difficult in what your pictures are going to be. But I'll give it to one of my great grand children. Also the pages can't be pulled out of the book

This is a book about my home town, which is the only reason I bought it. Not much history, though, and I avoided the BHS from Day One. A cure for home-sickness, for sure.
